How to rent a Storage Unit?




  • Give us a call or send us an email and you're halfway there!
  • We'll send you a registration form via email or text.
  • Fill out the form and return it to us.
  • Complete payment.
  • We'll send you your lock code and you're ready to move in!
  • You are welcome to use our lock or provide your own. There is room for two locks on each storage unit.


Rental Conditions



Please review your signed rental agreement carefully for information on conditions, restrictions and payment.


Highlights of the agreement include the following:

  • Rental Periods take effect on the day you take possession of your unit and can begin any day of the month not necessarily the first day of a month. Rental Periods ("or months") begin on the first day of each month. If you move in part-way through a month, we'll prorate your first month's rent to reflect the number of days that you're renting.
  • Rental Charges will be renewed on the first day of each month. A $25 late fee is applied when rent is not received by the 3rd day of the month.
  • You are required to provide a minimum of 10 days Advance Notice (by text or email) if you plan to vacate your unit otherwise your rental period will be renewed for an additional month.
  • A Damage & Cleaning Deposit of $50 is required for all rentals. This $50 will be returned to you at the conclusion of your rental assuming the landlord is satisfied that the unit has been left in a clean and undamaged condition.
  • Maritime Self-Storage DOES NOT provide Insurance for tenants. Canadian Law prohibits us from insuring other people's goods. Tenants are responsible for all damage or theft to their own property.
