Please review your signed rental agreement carefully for information on conditions, restrictions and payment.
Highlights of the agreement include the following:
- Rental Periods take effect on the day you take possession of your unit and can begin any day of the month not necessarily the first day of a month. Rental Periods ("or months") begin on the first day of each month. If you move in part-way through a month, we'll prorate your first month's rent to reflect the number of days that you're renting.
- Rental Charges will be renewed on the first day of each month. A $25 late fee is applied when rent is not received by the 3rd day of the month.
- You are required to provide a minimum of 10 days Advance Notice (by text or email) if you plan to vacate your unit otherwise your rental period will be renewed for an additional month.
- A Damage & Cleaning Deposit of $50 is required for all rentals. This $50 will be returned to you at the conclusion of your rental assuming the landlord is satisfied that the unit has been left in a clean and undamaged condition.
- Maritime Self-Storage DOES NOT provide Insurance for tenants. Canadian Law prohibits us from insuring other people's goods. Tenants are responsible for all damage or theft to their own property.
